ROUX is the brainchild of two friends, Roos Bierhoff and Allon Niesen, who decided to translate their love for good food, hospitality and great company into Amsterdam's hotspot.

OUR KITCHEN
The ROUX menu basically radiates French Cuisine . But with Sebastiano Guglielmucci and Teun Daemen at the head of our kitchen, two talented chefs with years of experience and a range of diverse cuisines in their repertoire, many influences from funky world cuisines and cool, creative flavor combinations will be reflected in our dishes. This ensures an exciting, culinary experience in which tradition and innovation complement each other perfectly.
The ROUX menu includes a selection of bites, starters, intermediate courses, main courses and desserts, where guests can enjoy an à la carte experience without the obligation to tasting menus or wine pairings.

OUR WINES
Wine is very important at ROUX. The pride of our sommelier Allon Niesen is reflected in the extensive wine list of 300+ wines.
The focus of the wine list is on France and Italy, but also offers choices from South Africa, the US, Germany, Spain and even lesser-known wine countries such as Luxembourg and Belgium.
GROUP DINING

HOUSE RULES
There are a few final practical matters that we would like to inform you of;
Roux is a 'no cash payment' restaurant. Payment can only be made with PIN or credit card.
Roux is - to our great regret! - not entirely wheelchair accessible. The toilets are not on the same floor. The restaurant is accessible by wheelchair and is on the ground floor.
Due to strict food safety regulations, dogs and other pets are not allowed at Roux.
